Mini review: Jubelale – A festive winter ale

It’s one of my favorite times of year – winter ale season. I already went through my first winter ales of the season, but I figured I’d go outside of the realm of Sam Adams.

Last night I finished work a little early and I went to the store and picked up a couple of Deschutes Brewery’s Jubelale – A festive winter ale.

This ale has a warm spiciness mixed with toffee notes and dried fruit, along  a hoppy finish, which I wasn’t a huge fan of, but I got used to it after a little bit.
