Three-Eyed Raven Dark Saison Ale

Ommegang is at it again. They’ve revealed the fifth brew in their “Game of Thrones” inspired line of beers dubbed the Three-Eyed Raven Dark Saison Ale.

The name comes from the three-eyed raven that Bran Stark encounters throughout the series. Although he appears as an animal for most of the series, we get to see him as a human in season four when Bran finally meets him. He tells the young Stark that he will never walk again, “but he will fly.”

Ommegang started marking the GOT beers in 2013, with their Iron Throne Blonde Ale. Next came Take the Black Stout, Fire and Blood Red Ale and Valar Morghulis Dubbel Ale, all of which have done successful in stores. I’ve actually tried Take the Black Stout and it’s pretty good. I’ve been meaning to try the other brews but I haven’t been able to find them.

Now it seems I have another to add to the list.
