Doc’ Z and the Groovy Halloween Party

Last night I attended my first Halloween Party in Wolf Point.

To prepare for the event, I covered my blue shirt with dirt and fake blood while putting some of my red sticky substance on my face. Add a cheap toy chainsaw and you’ve got Al Stover as Ash Williams.

When I arrived at the pub, I was the only guy in costume for the first half of the night. As  the sun went down, masked murderers, zombies and other creatures of the night appeared. One of the costumes that seemed to be a hit was Catwoman, played by one of the local mechanics. A costume that was a hit with me was Katie the Brewmaster, dressed up as a cloud … or I assume it was a cloud because of the white fluffy cotton balls and the rainbow.

I didn’t stay too long as my stomach wasn’t feeling too good. That’s what I get for having a root beer in-between my CD (Cherry Ale mixed with Pumpkin Spiced Ale), Stout and I.P.A.

Still, the party was fun and it a good atmosphere. The pub has more events coming up in the next month and I plan on attending every one of them.

About Al Stover

I graduated from Eastern Washington University with a bachelor's degree in journalism. I currently work as a Staff Reporter for the Cheney Free Press. I have interviewed characters like cage fighters, drag queens and dungeon masters. I like Batman, coffee, MMA and beer.
